It's 'Chun Jie' Eve
What we had during the eve...
For the first time in many years, my mom decided to get her hands dirty and contributed one dish as well. hehe... Guess which one she (or more accurately Maurize) prepared.
2nd day of chun jie, we will always head for tayi's home. We try to avoid visiting her on the 1st day as she has taken to eating vegetarian on the 1st and 15th day of the lunar calendar. The food you see are mostly prepared by her single handedly. Yummy... I loved the 'fatchoy with houxi' the most. *drool again*

Yummy Ramen
Had this after the cartoon at Shokutsu st. I had always disliked soup based noodles. This was surprisingly good and changed my mind about ramen. And doesn't it look exactly the same as the picture from the ponyo-ponyo below?

MOF again
Started my curry craze awhile back. These days, I hv been checking out the fried chicken/pork curry rice at almost every jap restaurant i visit. Every single one didn't disappoint. What can i say? I am not a fussy eater at all.

lau zek's funeral
My 8th lau zek was well known as a quiet guy, albeit abit stubborn at times. His death was sudden as he had recently undergone a successful surgery and was well and hale. 8th lau xing went to wake him up one morning and discovered that he had passed away in his sleep. The funeral was simple and traditional. It was sad watching 8th lau xing in tears crying for him.

Currently reading: Analysis of the Attenuation Ratio of MQW Optical Intensity Modulator for 1.55um Wavelength .... by Tasuroh Ikeda, et al. - I think the title explains everything. Help...
Just finished reading: Electric-Field Dependece of Linear Optical Properties in QW Structures: Waveguide Electroabsorption & Sum Rules by David A. B. Miller & friends - Ok. So, i ran over the equation portions. Lucky me this paper is more words and numbers.
