last trip home for the year...
If no big issues crop up, tonite's trip would be the last one i make back home this year. Oh boy, wat a lot of stuff to drag back. If only there was a car ride. ^__^
Hopefully there would be more carolling gigs this year. I need some cheering up practices after the horrible quiz i ploughed through yesterday.
13 more days to exam...
On a more cheery note, finally finished "Wang Zhi bian Ching Wa" last sunday. Hmm... not as much withdrawal symptoms after as i tot. Could it be tht I hv finally kicked off the habit for good? Anyways, guess i still prefer the Korean "Saved the Last Dance for Me".
Currently reading: Blood Price by Tanya Huff - something like the Anita Blake series. Pretty addictive so far.

VM
L kept saying it was a great series and finally i sat down to devour the whole of season 1 in 3 days (working days i might add.)
Totally cool series about Veronica Mars, a previously 090 (O-ninner) student who had all the privileages of the wealthier kids attending Neptune High. Alas, 1 year ago, she was 'de-throned' when her billionaire bf (Duncan Kane) dumped her for no reason watsoever and her sheriff father was ridiculed and fired for supposedly accusing the wrong suspect (who also happens to be Duncan's dad) for the murder of her bestfriend, Lily Kane.
Then, she begun working for her father as a private investigator, investigating all sorts of stuff (cult, missing dog, missing mom, missing dad, botched election, stolen school mascot, digging up parents' dirt, and much much more) on top of searching for her missing mother and Lily's real killer.
In season 2, a bus plummented into the sea, killing some of her friends, and nearly killing her as well (she escaped because she didn't get on after the rest-stop), and thus begun her senior year at Neptune High.
It's abit like Nancy Drew in Beverly Hills, with much more wit and punch thrown in. The way Veronica juggle between all her cases in each episode is just... well... beautiful.

Brow mowing
Voluntered for a free brow trimming session by future make-up artist, HL yesterday.
Glad to report dat, aside fm a temporary reddish patch under one of the brows under trimming, the experiment went pretty smoothly.
fm a scrutinizing eye-witness: " Wow, i didn't noe ur brows were actually so messy. so much better now."
Now, don't you wish u had a housemate taking up a part-time make-up course as well?!
Just finished reading: Frankenstein (Book One - The Prodigal Son) by Dean Koontz : oooo.... nice. I love Dean Koontz books. There is always a great kid/ an extremely gifted autistic lad/ a super intelligent dog and a high dose of the supernatural.

Exercise
haha... haven't been exercising so long dat i can hardly remember how to even spell dat word. This is getting abit critical.
Dat's it, LP, we should really be doing that jogging thing. Let's not pull in the excuses of needing to snuggle a few more minutes in bed and having to wash an extra few sets of clothes put us off anymore.
Currently reading: My backlog of notes. *Groan*
Just finished reading: House of Bones by Dale Bailey - 5 people staying in Dreamland, a place haunted by an accumulation of darkness and hate. ; The Soul Weaver by Carol Berg - Book 3 of The Bridge of D'Arnath (Yay, happy ending!!! So long Gerick, Karon, Seri and Paulo)
