Dissertation fullblast

Have not been updating my blog for months. I have hoped dat I could complete my dissertation and submit it before I sit down comfortably to rant about nothing again. Alas... different things kept popping up, and I finally realized that if I don't update soon, I'll be abandoning this site for good. So, here I am again.

The past few months, and months to come, had/have been packed with writing chapter after chapter of the dissertation. It is a gratifying experience to see pages after pages fill out with pictures. The satisfaction is way higher than blogging, which is why I am only filling up September's blog in January 2009. hehe. As you read along the next few months, (or if u just flipped from the future months) u'd c why and wat had been cooking or not. I guess September is sort of a filler. I hope I can upload the completed & submitted dissertation soon.

Icy Dessert

Although Phoebe gave us this treat back in August, I hv put it here since last month was concentrated on Singfest alone.

Due to my bad habit when I hv a food encounter, I only took pictures of the dessert.

The pic above are the 3 fruit ice cream we ordered. I thought the fruits were made from white chocolate (which is often the case in most Jap restaurants we've frequented.) Unfortunately, these were actually made from the real fruits. The ice cream were sweet and got abit nauseating after a few bites. Definitely won't recommend this dish.
